I believe we can do anything we set our minds to. And not because we are determined or positive thinkers; but because we have large primate brains and big chimp hands with which to make coffee.
Anyone who knows me at all, knows that I have a few passions in this life, and that one of them is coffee. Sigh. Even typing the word gives me pleasure. People that work in the production offices and on set in Film and TV know that production runs on one thing: Coffee. A set without it is unthinkable. I like mine hot, black, rich and dark. And no, after ordering I’m not going to make a crack comparing that description to a man; that would steal precious time away from getting the cup to my lips.
My favorite drinking vessel for it is the Victor mug, that staple of US diners. So much so that I had to have the Ardent dog put on them for our online store; this says less about my desire to sell mugs, than it does about my obsession with coffee. Actually I wish some coffee company would fall in love with us just so we could have sponsor coffee, everywhere, around us all the time; just so we’d never be at risk of running out. And the pleasure I get from seeing the Ardent winged dog on the mugs is out-of-scale with his size.
Call me crazy, it just tastes better out of those mugs…
